Participants in the program will automatically receive Southbridge Standard, the community default, unless they chose one of the other optional products. To choose a different product click here.

Future savings cannot be guaranteed. The additional Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) qualify for MA Class I designation and come only from solar, wind, anaerobic digestion and low impact hydro. RECs are the accepted legal instrument used to track renewable energy generation and to substantiate claims of renewable energy use. If you do not receive a letter, you will not be automatically enrolled. You may join the program by submitting a request to enroll here

Please note: Customers that opt-out of the program and then seek to re-join, as well as new medium, large and very large business customers joining the program, may be offered a market price, rather than the program price shown in the table above. Such market price will be offered by the electricity supplier in writing, and you will not be enrolled in that price unless you affirmatively accept. The market price will be based on current wholesale prices and the supplier’s costs at the time the you seek to enroll, and the price will be fixed for the remainder of the Town’s contract with the supplier. At the start of the Town’s next supply contract, you will be transferred to the then-current program pricing.

  • Heat Pump Discount Rate: Starting November 1, 2025, most electricity customers with heat pumps will receive a discount through National Grid’s ‘heat pump’ delivery rate.
